Who is Kriya?

Kriya is a London-based business finance provider offering invoice finance, B2B pay-later credit and business loans. The legal entity is Kriya Finance Limited, company number 07330525, incorporated in July 2010 according to Companies House and previously named MarketInvoice Limited and then MarketFinance Limited. Its registered office is at 15 Worship Street, London. Kriya announced in October 2025 that it had been acquired by Allica Bank and would continue to operate under its own brand.

What does Kriya offer?

Kriya publishes three products, with the most detail on invoice finance.

The invoice finance facility is confidential and advances up to 90% of the invoice value, minus fees. For business loans, Kriya asks you to enquire and says it aims to give initial terms and pricing within a week.

Who can apply to Kriya?

Eligibility depends on the product. Kriya’s published criteria for invoice finance are:

  • at least two years’ trading
  • customers that are other businesses or public sector bodies
  • consistent monthly invoicing of £100k or more, or equivalent seasonal volumes
  • a profitable business, or one with 12 months or more of cash runway and a clear path to profit
  • invoices for completed, verified work on payment terms of up to 120 days
  • tax up to date with HMRC, or a Time to Pay arrangement in place

Kriya says invoice finance is not suitable for one-off short-term funding. For business loans it refers to businesses trading for at least 12 months with one set of filed accounts. PayLater is open to buyers that are limited companies, LLPs, limited partnerships or sole traders trading for three months or more. The pages we checked do not state a minimum turnover for loans or any excluded sectors.

How do repayment and cost work?

Invoice finance is repaid by your customers, not by a monthly instalment. Kriya advances part of an invoice, your customer pays the full amount into a Kriya trust account on the due date, and Kriya settles your balance and releases the remainder the same day. Kriya charges a discount charge on the money advanced and a service fee on funded invoices, with a minimum monthly fee; its site gives indicative figures, which can change. It does not publish pricing for business loans.

Security

Kriya lists a fixed charge over book debts and an all-asset debenture as security for invoice finance, and says personal guarantees may be applied.

How is Kriya regulated?

Kriya’s site states that “Kriya Finance Limited is supervised by the Financial Conduct Authority for anti-money laundering purposes (FCA reference no: 750199)”. That describes anti-money laundering supervision; it is not a statement that Kriya is authorised by the FCA for lending. For a business borrower, most lending to limited companies is not FCA-regulated consumer credit, so the facility agreement sets out your rights and obligations.

What are the alternatives to Kriya finance?

The main alternatives are an unsecured loan or finance repaid from sales. Kriya’s invoice finance criteria will not fit a business that invoices less than £100k a month, sells to consumers or needs one-off funding.

  • iwoca offers unsecured business loans and its own B2B pay-later product.
  • Liberis provides revenue-based finance repaid as a percentage of daily sales.
